Celebrate the New Year with the NWF's Annual Tradition, Slammin' in the New Year! All the action starts at 3 PM at BoneKrushers National Pro Wrestling Training Center on Friday afternoon. Already signed: The Playboy defends the Unified Title against Jay Donaldson! Plus: NWF CEO Kirk Sheppard will be in the building; with what went down last week in Fairfield, who knows what kind of havoc he'll create in an attempt to dethrone NWF Champion Ryan Stone. Stewie Backlund was disqualified against Nasty Russ when inGe ran in. T-Money made the save and the Thugs auctioned off inGe's shoes and hat to the fans!
NWF CEO Kirk Sheppard - flanked by referees and security guards - came to the ring with The Genuine Superstar demanding a title rematch from Ryan Stone. Stone came out and said "No!" and argued that NWF Owners Roger Ruffen & Sin D had alread said no, too. Sheppard said he thought they might have changed their mind - and motioned for the Playboy and The Hero to drag Ruffen & Sin D into the ring. Bryant continued to assault Ruffen with a chair until Stone finally agreed to the match later tonight!
Unified Champion The Playboy defeated Jay Donaldson with assistance from The Hero.
Christopher Michael Lotus defeated The Fitness Machine after the fan that was attacked last month during the pushup challenge got involved. His name is Danny Todd and the after the match the Fitness Machine challenged him to a match next month. Lotus cautioned the untrained fan not to accept, but the fans encouraged him and he said yes!
Muldoon defeated Jeremy "I'm Your Hero" Hyde by DQ when Hyde used a chair. Muldoon stood up and nearly chokeslammed Hero after the match, but he ran for cover. A rematch has been signed for Slammin in the New Year!
NWF Tag Team Champions The Hippies defeated The Infection. After the match, the Infection spit mist in the faces of the Hippies.
The Genuine Superstar was disqualified in his match with Ryan Stone once Stone had CEO Kirk Sheppard begging for his life in the middle of the ring. The Playboy and the Hero ran into the ring and attacked Stone; then Roger Ruffen's music hit and he came out and cleaned house. However the numbers were overwhelming and Sheppard's troops gained the advantage. Then, out of nowhere, Muldoon's music hit and Sin D began pulling him out of the curtain by his arm. Muldoon was reluctant to get involved, but finally he hit the ring and attacked. Ruffen then challenged Sheppard and his soldiers to a 6 man tag team match on January 23rd.
